ScreedBoard 20 & ScreedBoard 28

ScreedBoard is an excellent replacement for conventional tongue and groove chipboard flooring. Screedboard can be used in Robust details to comply with Part E of the building regulations and when used with underfloor heating the performance is increased by up to 50%.

The ScreedBoard panels are 20mm thick calcium sulphate sheets with interlocking edges that are glued together using Cellecta SB Joint adhesive. This forms a fully floating floor that can be laid over rigid insulation or an 8mm acoustic resilient layer to form ScreedBoard 28. The panel has a high acoustic performance and excellent conductivity making it an excellent choice as an overlay for underfloor heating systems.

ScreedBoard 28 is used in robust detail E-FT-5 as an acoustic treatment for separating floors.
